As a Myofascial Release Therapist, I've worked with healing bodies, self-care devotees, and those on a path of self-discovery for over two decades.
Local to Portland, Maine, I work selectively with 1:1 clients and teach small-group Myofascial self-care classes. StillPoint Myofascial Release is uniquely located in a yurt, thoughtfully designed with fascial healing in mind.

- What tools are required for participation?The tools used in this video series are readily available and inexpensive. You will need a full-length foam roller and two (2) air-filled balls.
The techniques are demonstrated on 6" diameter x 36" length, moderate-density foam roller. And a pair of 4", inflatable balls.
All tools are sold separately. - Are the videos downloadable?Yes, all of the videos are downloadable and yours to keep!
- I am an MFR therapist, will this help me teach my clients/patients how to utilize Myofascial self-care.As an MFR therapist, there is always an element of also being a patient/client. A therapist can't expect their clients to be consistent with a self-care practice if they don't understand what it takes to commit themselves. The better a therapist knows the subtlety, nuance, and language of self-care, the better they will be able to convey these skills and techniques to their clients. As a therapist, you will learn through your own experience, making you more equipped to effectively help your clients/patients.
- Do I need any experience with foam rolling or fascia?This video series is for those who have a desire to care for their body with a fascia focus. If you are a beginner to foam rolling or have no fascial know-how, you can still benefit from this video series. You're understanding and body awareness will increase over time.
- Can this replace manual therapy such as Myofascial Release, Massage or Physical Therapy?Myofascial self-care complements and enhances manual therapies such as Myofascial Release, massage, and physical therapy. Self-care is not the same as working with a therapist. Both are extraordinarily valuable. A self-care practice deepens your healing process to bolster both 1:1 therapy and a wellness routine.
